Personal websites are now greatly used worldwide to share information and photographs to your friends and family all across the world. If you have relatives halfway across the world it is an easy way to post pictures of your new born baby or your recent holiday.

Another example of a personal website is for someone to show of their skills, i.e.. a DJ or a fan site. An example site of this is www.SteviecJimbo.co.uk which are two DJ's that have started up their site displaying information on where and when they are playing and to also show visitors their pictures that they might have had taken on a particular night out where the DJ's were playing.
